Self-Isolation is a collaboration with Jordache. It looks at the distorted social media lens we use to evaluate one's happiness and success. The painting tries to capture a perfect selfie set for social media, misleading the viewer of the reality of the situation. In actuality, the image is captured during the COVID 19 Pandemic. In isolation, the figure wears one of her best dresses in the comfort of her home, unable to work, go out, and socialise. With poor lighting, not an ideal photography situation, the painting is manipulated to look beautifully elegant, although her future is uncertain.
